2nd International Conference on Stable Isotopes in Medical Sciences
Building on the success of our inaugural meeting, and following discussions with leaders in the application of stable isotopes in health sciences and with conference organizers, we have adopted a three-year cycle for the International Conference on Stable Isotopes in Medical Sciences.
This schedule was intentionally chosen to:
-
Provide sufficient time for the field to generate meaningful new data and advance methodologies
-
Ensure each meeting delivers substantial scientific progress, rather than incremental repetition
-
Avoid overlap with the RACMEM Conference, which also operates on a three-year cycle and focuses on energy expenditure methodologies, including doubly labeled water (DLW)
By aligning with the broader conference landscape, we aim to maximize scientific impact, participation, and value for the global health sciences isotope community.
